Have just been looking through them all (well not all because there are heaps! lol) but can't find one that looks interesting. They all just require a short answer and thats the end. So I think I should start an interesting topic.....but I can't think of one....so I start this one instead lol

First thing you do is check out the discussions started by your friends as there are bound to be some in there that interest you. If there aren't any, then the answer is to get more friends which will broaden your range of discussions. I go to my friends every day I am on line, and those are the discussions that I respond to first and do find discussions that interest me. That means I rarely have to go to any other discussion, which suits me. :)

This is a problem that many of us are having. The initial flood of members, and sadly quite a few since, seem to have had 1 single goal in mind, which is to make quick cash. Too many people have no interest in responding to discussions, all that matters is churning out vast numbers of inane topics that require a 1 or 2 word answer to attract others. With the new guidelines this practice should slowly decline, then it will become more of a practical forum.

I hope so! some of the topics are okay, just go in and give a one line answer, but then there's about 100 more with the same question it gets boring.

I seem to have the same problem, it seems everyone is just interested in making money, not discussing anything. I've noticed if I start a reasonable thread I get no replies, but if I start a 'mindless' one it does get replies :S It gets a bit frustrating!

most people obviously just want quick answers so they can clock up as many posts as possible!

It is hard to try and think of a good discussion to start. So far I have done the quick answer questions but have noticed some of them dont get a reply at all....who knows

Did you realise that by responding to a discussion of a friend that you are bringing it back to the top, which in turn attracts more responses. Also if you make a comment to the responses to your discussions that has the same affect. :)

If you can't find a good discussion, you can lock at mine, and give a response to some of them. I will be very thankful to you!
