What is it with these people that can't understand that the congress runs the country, they make and pass the laws. What is it they don't understand when it comes to what the president can and can not do,with our congresses approval. Why is it that they can blame Bush or anyone else but they can't blame the ones that has put us where we are, in this financial mess.
I get so tired of hearing Bush,Bush, so when Obama gets in there and they still make the laws will they Blame Obama, no because they will have a puppet that they know will vote as they do.
He isn't going to change things unless you consider for the other people here, he won't even vote to make English our Offical Language, him along with Biden voted against it, not once but twice. What language would he like us to speak, Muslim maybe.
These people want change, Oh they are going to get it, but I seriously doubt if it is the change that they want. His association with Acorn should be enough to tell you what he is, his distubrution of millions of dollars to school that taught radical ideas to their students, His association with Ayers, Resko, etc, etc how can this be a man we can trust.
I have ask on here many times someone show me what this man has that makes him qualified to run our country. And I can not get one person to tell ONE thing he has done or one qualification that he has. Wake up people if you want another 4 years of what we got, then let him get in with the democratic congress and you got it. Who will you blame then.
JUST AN INTERESTING ITEM I THOUGHT:
IF BARACK OBAMA would apply for a job with the FBI, or with the SECRET SERVICE, he would be disqualified because of his past association with Bill Ayers, a known terrorist.
If he is elected to be the president he would not qualify to be his own body guard.
Now this is one great man to be running our country.

"What is it with these people that can't understand that the congress runs the country, they make and pass the laws."
Why the big fuss over the Presidency, then?
This is just a point of convenience--since Democrats have the majority in Congress, suddenly Congress "runs the country", because then you can blame Congress and act like it's all the Democrats' fault the stock market is at its lowest point in five years, as well as whatever other negative stuff you can think of.
Please, spare me.
"he won't even vote to make English our Offical Language"
Let me know when you can spell "official" (and also when to use a question mark (psst, first sentence)). Then I might care what you have to say about the English language.
"What language would he like us to speak, Muslim maybe."
Muslim is not a language, you imbecile. Do you speak Christian? Also, there should be a question mark at the end of a question.
"I have ask on here many times someone show me what this man has that makes him qualified to run our country. And I can not get one person to tell ONE thing he has done or one qualification that he has."
He graduated with highest honors at Harvard Law, and became president of the Harvard Law Review.
At the same time as the above, he was a civil rights attorney and a community organizer.
Then he taught CONSTITUTIONAL LAW for 12 years (with all the disrespect for the Constitution we've had in the last eight years, it's important we have a President who knows the Constitution and is willing to defend it).
Then he spent three terms in the Illinois Senate.
Then he was elected to the U.S. Senate with 70% of the vote, and has since worked with both parties to pass landmark legislation on ethics reform, nuclear non-proliferation, and transparency in government spending (usaspending.gov, a website where you can see how your tax money is spent by the government, exists because of him).
He demonstrated his superior judgment in being on the 'right side' of Iraq from the very beginning, at a time when it was extremely politically unpopular to oppose the Iraq invasion. Today, the majority of Americans believe we should have never invaded in the first place.
Then he ran for President, doing in the primaries what no Republican has EVER done--beat a Clinton.
Call me crazy, but I think he can handle it. Now I'd better not catch you claiming no one can answer that question in the future, because I just did.
"Who will you blame then."
Another missing question mark. You really ought to master English one of these days.
"IF BARACK OBAMA would apply for a job with the FBI, or with the SECRET SERVICE, he would be disqualified because of his past association with Bill Ayers, a known terrorist."
Sarah Palin herself referenced a New York Times article that showed that Ayers and Obama were never close, never friends. On the other hand, G. Gordon Liddy, a man who literally has publicly given instructions on how to best kill government agents, refers to John McCain as an "old friend". Smells like projection to me.
"Now this is one great man to be running our country."
That's why even in conservative-leaning poll aggregators, he's projected to get over 270 EVs even WITHOUT counting toss-up states. :) (Source: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/maps/obama_vs_mccain/)
See you in November, hotshot.

I take a small bow of appreciative gratitude for the compliments. :)
By the way, the language part of the original post has earned a spot in my "You Fool!" category on my blog:

I posted this below but, incase you missed it, you need to get your facts straight about the *National* Language amendment that had a shelf life of approximately half an hour.
http://www.snopes.com/pol...
This was part of the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2006. Look halfway down the page, read the wording of Amendment 4064, which would make English the*National* language, declaring that the federal government had no obligation to provide documents or services in any language other than English. English only forms, information, ballots...how very democratic of us considering the size of our Spanish speaking population.
Half an hour later Amendment 4073 was passed which declared English to be the common and unifying language of the United States, which contridicted the previous bill.
With upwards of 18% of the population of this country speaking a language other than English at home, it's ridiculous for anyone to support a prejudicial bill that would place official limits on communication.
That is, unless some folks have a problem with the idea of the free flow of information in a free country.

There's so much misinformation posted on this board as fact, usually designed to make Obama look like the boogie man who is going to single handedly take over this country (while the Senate and House are napping I guess) that it really irritates me. What bothers me more is that I've noticed recently how the crowds at Palin and McCain's rallies are becoming more and more vicioius as he and Palin continue to attack and stir folks up. If things turn nasty after the election I predict that it'll be coming from the McCain supporters.

I completely concur with you on this. There's a difference between a person putting facts out there to let people debate upon and putting up half a story bashing one of the canidates. I mean, if we're going to discuss something on here, I just wonder why it can't be an actual discussion rather than people just posting half a story, that again is why I thank you for the information.
