Does anyone know how to fold a cloth diaper. From beginning to end? This can be kind of a fun discussion. Tell me in detail from beginning to end how you would fold a cltoh diaper. When the discussion is close to over I will post my detailed instructions. Have fun.

I have no idea how to fold a cloth diaper... since i use the disposable ones for my daughter... but i did make her use the washable diapers... but had to stop because they got too small for her...
I am thinking that when i have another child... i would lessen the use of disposable diapers to save more money... and to at least help the environment... so your tips on how to fold cloth diapers would be very helpful to me...

I would love to share with you how to fold a cloth diaper.
It is pretty easy.
1. first you are going to lay the diaper on the table. Fold it in half from the bottom up. Make sure the fold is on the bottom.
2. You want to fold the left side over the middle about an inch. Do the same with the right side, make sure the sides overlap . (that just makes a very absorbent middle)
3.Fold the bottom corners in diagonally. The diaper is pointed at one end. Looks like this \_/
4.Lay your baby on the diaper, bringing the front end up between his or her legs so it rests on his or her tummy.
5. Pull the diaper he is laying on around his waist on each side and lay it on top of the fabric in front. Now all you have to do is safely fasten the cloth and pull a diaper cover over so you won't have any leaking problems. I wish you the best with your cloth diapering. Thank you

I can remember a friend of mine cleaning out a house of her Grandmothers after she passed away and she found a great big stack og what we figured out to be cloth diapers but they were of a strange type of material, I think she ended up throwing them all out because she didn't think anyone would use them these days...

Isn't it funny that forever ago it was a novelty to use disposable diapers. Now, with the environment people are starting to change their mind and go back to the original way. Thank you so much for responding.
