Does anyone have a problem with their cell phone service?

I have AT&T cell phone service. When we got our cell phones it was still Cingular and we never had a problem with our service. Honestly, I had never had a single dropped call and never had a problem with my service going out.
After they switched to AT&T I am lucky to be able to use my phone. Dropped calls all the time, I lose service constantly and hardly ever have a very good signal. Anyone else with this service have any problems? My contract is up next month and I am not planning on renewing it. Does anyone know of a good service provider besides this one?

Cell phones are remarkable and they were very useful in every day like and I do not think people could live without a cell phone, when my parents first got cell phones they had Sprint which was a waste of money because we never could get signal and whenever we called technical support we always got the ring around so like a year ago we switched to Alltel which was a good decision because Alltel has good service and almost anywhere we go we have signal, and the technical support is always very helpful whenever we have a question or a problem.

Thanks for the info. I know in the area where we live, Sprint isn't very reliable. I was thinking of a couple to look into and Alltel was one of them. It's good to know about how helpful they are. Sometimes I can't stand customer service...LOL!

Maybe it's the towers in your area or you have a crappy cell phone or soemthing because I have AT&T as well but I rarely ever have a dropped call, even after they switched from Cingular to AT&T. It's easy for me to connect in lots of places and I have great reception and coverage. I don't know why the service varies for you. SOrry you're having problems. I have not had any and plan to stay with them until I do have problems, which I don't foresee happening anytime soon. Best wishes!

It probably is where I live. I just thought it was strange that with Cingular, we had great service but when they switched it went completely downhill. I would think that it would be the same service and that the name had only changed. Maybe it was coincidence and maybe my phone did go bad at the same time. Thanks for responding!
