Oh No ! I am saying as if some thing unforeseen thing has happened ! LOL ! We have practically washed our mobile phone in washing machine for about 10 minutes before discovering that it is being washed nicely in the washing machine that too because of some odd sounds coming from the Machine. I took out the phone and having dismantled it and wiped it dry with a cloath, i dried it hroughly with hair dryer and kept it lying there like that for about 6 hours. same thing I have done with my battery. Lo after 6 hours after drying onc again with hair dryer my phone was working as good as it was before!
So What I advise you is not to start the phone even if it slightly wet as this create short circuit and your instrument will blow up! Dry it carefully with a dry cloath and with the help of hair dryer say for 30 minutes. There after let the set dry for another 6 hours and then once again dry it with hair dryer before starting it! Same way dry the battery and if possible get it charged before starting your phone to rechage your battery which has a ot of chances of getting discharged completely once it is wet!For this you can use some other set of mobile phone which is having similsr battry like yours.
I think by doing so you will have phone working! Wish you all the best! Would like to hear from you what happened next ? Thanks!

All you can do is try to open it up and leave all the pieces out in the open for 2-3 days. This should dry it up properly. And then try to switch it on. It might still work after that and you can use it properly. Do not be hasty and get a new one, you can still make this work. And hey, I found this tip on myLot about drying soaked electronics. Put them in a jar of rice. Suppposedly the rice will absorb all the moisture and rid your things of their water. I haven't tried this but hey, you got nothing to lose. Get back with the results of your experiment..

First you do one thing, Dissemble all the parts of your cellphone and dry all the parts in your cellphone. After drying all of the parts in your cellphone keep it as it is that means all the parts should assembled as usual. And see weather cell phone is working are not. If it is working go ahead. If it is not working give the cell phone to repair. I think this problem will done through repair instead of not to get a new phone.
