HI JUHI
am going to celebrate deepawali.. One of the biggest festivals of Hindus, Deepawali or Diwali in India is celebrated with lots of enthusiasm and happiness. This festival is celebrated for five continuous with the third day being celebrated as the main Diwali or as 'Festival of Lights'. Fireworks are always associated with this festival. The day is celebrated with people lighting diyas, candles all around their house. Lakshmi Puja is performed in the evening to seek divine blessings of Goddess of Wealth. Diwali gifts are exchanged among all near and dear ones.
advance diwali wishes.. take care and have fun..

It sounds like a wonderful celebration. We don't have that as a celebration. I live in America. I think the celebration that is closest to this is Halloween. You see all kind of decorations on houses and kids dress up and go out trick or treating. What this is they go out and ask for candy from house and the stores even give out free candy. What this celebration is called Halloween but it is more than that it is all souls day.
