Hi friends,In our lives we under go both sorrow and happiness. When I feel extremely happy I dont get sleep very soon,I would be thinking of the incident which caused happiness and dwelling in the thoughts happily,But when I am extremely sad and unhappy,I would become tensed and upset.I would not get sleep immediately. It keeps me worried. So we experience the same(not getting sleep soon)both in happiness and sorrow.Share your experiences please.

Those are both extremes and therefore it is very natural to preoccuppy our thoughts a lot! Therefore both extreme emotions have the same effect on our sleep. However...the difference probably is that when extremely happy, you feel like heaven thinking of the happy event that transpired then when you finally fell as sleep...your sleep will be so sound and you will get beautiful dreams. On the contrary when you sleep with extreme sorrow...your sleep is a disturbed type. It will be a very short one or you'd still wake up every now and then and there are chances of getting bad dreams. I'm here talking through experience.

Same is here too. I cannot sleep when I am sad or too happy. Those thoughts bugs me the whole night.Probably, thats because we are thinkers!

Hi friend,Happy to have your first response.I do agree with you that we are thinkers as somepeople whether sorrow or happiness sleep immediately when their head hits the pillow.thanks for sharing.happy mylotting.

Yes even I do feel like hitting the sack immediately whenever I am in sorrow. It helps lot in escaping the inquiries and and pep talks that makes you more sorrowful. You sure like to be alone when you are bugged.
