Ever eating in class?

i think i eat in the class every day it has became a habit i eat in the chemistry class my chemistry teacher is not strict i sometimes share my food with her is'nt it weird.well that is true she is one in a million.

the suspense and thrill of being caught and humiliation after that can't stop students to try to eat in the class and have the sense of proud about it too. it is not banned in our university and it depends on the teacher and if they allow certain products like tea,snack,water then you can have them openly and if not then who is going to stop them unless they are caught. i used to eat in the class during my school and college but i don't generally eat in the class in the university but will give it a go when i feel hungry.

Being the foodie that I am, I couldn’t really control my urge to eat all the time. I do this even now, most of the time I am munching something or the other. Now, it so happened that one day during lunch time, I could not finish all my lunch as I was to eager to go out and play. immediately after lunch, when we all assembled in class and our English teacher was yet to enter, I thought of it as a good moment to just put something in my mouth. Inside my box was a big and dry piece of sweet (absolutely yummy), something we Bengalis call Sandesh. I just popped it into my mouth and was savouring its taste when in walks the teacher and immediately (till today I dont know how), she spots my face with cheeks bulging out. She asked me if I was actually eating something and poor me, could not even reply nor could I gulp down the sweet. Well, she took pity on me and though I was ordered out of the class, I could finish my eating outside and then return to my seat.

Yeah i did, i remember when i was in high school, i was a senior student, and the most boring subject is physics and the subject schedule is 5pm in the afternoon and that everyday, we all get feel bored on that subject or maybe we are just exhausted, because the physics is our last subject for the afternoon class. I remember before we approach to the physics room, i start collecting 1 peso, to buy kornik ( junk food) and of course I 'm the last to enter the room, because i have to buy kornik outside the school campus, i start distributing the kornik buy throwing it to my classmates, and i have the name list of my classmates who give 1 peso. I throw the kornik when our teaching is not facing to us. lol! As time goes by, that thing became my daily routine, until my teacher noticed that I'm always late on her subject, but she won't get angry with me, glad we have kindhearted teacher. Finally she caught me throwing korniks at my classmates. lol! I remember i was throwing 3 pcs of korniks to my classmates. Never realize that my teacher noticed what I'm doing. My face turn pale that time, but I'm glad she don't report me to the guidance councilor, but she told me never to that again. But i still did, with the new physics teacher, a substitute teacher, because that time our teacher got pregnant, and there's a substitute teacher. wew! am i naughty? lol!

Of course. I often eat in class when I studying at school. I usually eat candy or snack. I know that it's break the rule, but it gives another sensation and it's better than eating in normal time. keep post happy myLotting...

Hi babyorchid beautiful girl! Well, I don't eat in class because I don't study anymore sice about 10 months ago, but at work is also forbidden while in front of the computer or in the office, but I like to take risks.

nice.. :) i love eating in class..its the best part of the lecture..haha i especially like eating when the teacher wants us to copy something or when the teacher is just giving us lectures..keeps me energized.. and you know, when you go to college..professors wont be that strict about eating in class.. :) good post babyorchid.. :)

hahahaha.. i always do that when i was still studying..hehehe when i was in college, our teacher permits us to eat inside the class as long as we just keep quiet and eat silently.. i always munch on biscuits, sweets or candies just to keep me awake in class.. especially those classes in the afternoon, they are really boring and they make me very drowsy!hehehe

I often brought food during my high school years and shared them with classmates who were seated close by and those that were interested in taking a bite or two. Being cautious as well as to not get caught by the teacher. We often sat on the floor behind some seats so that the teacher wouldn't notice us while she was doing something at her table. Those were nice days (^_^ )

i did... but not all the time, i just happened to be eating before the teacher came in, so i just continued eating. there was an instance where one of my teacher allowed us to eat inside the classroom and my throat dried up. i asked permission to go to the cafeteria to get something to drink. to my shock, she said "YES!".. nice. that's the perk of being the teacher's pet! :)

As a matter of fact, yeah, i did too. I've tried eating a sandwich while I was in high school. I was so hungry back then. I've tried to eat cookies and biscuits as well for that I asked my teacher if I could since I really need it badly at that time. Lately, in trainings and seminars, I usually find the instructors giving lee-ways when it comes to food. As long as it's not noisy to eat and it isn't a full meal, it's pretty much ok. In general, as long as it doesn't disturb the others and the class itself.

Some of our professors, especially college professors, allow eating in class. Some of them say eating (or the act of chewing something) stimulates the brain so it is really helpful for the students. And it is better for the students to have something in their stomach during the class. Maybe because during my college days we have long hours of class that is why they permit us to eat, without the quality of the lesson suffering. Have a nice day!

Yes, but at my school, most of the teachers didnt care if we ate in class. I graduated last year though and I am going to college next year. I bet it will be different there. I think I would be too scared to defy the professors though, at least as a freshman.

I was caught once,eating sandwich in class. The teacher punished me but still now I don't understand the reason of punishing me,as that time I was hungry.

In my college, if we could eat quietly we were allowed to munch quietly. I taught classes and allowed my students to eat as long as they were respectful while chewing.

Well, it's not a ban, but surely its an act of disrespect against the teacher and other people present in the class. I usually like to munch on cookies and chocolates in the class. They are the easiest thing that we can eat and they leave no mess behind. It's fun to eat in the class because you have to be double alert and avoid being caught. bourne

Oh I did this when I was in high school as well! As long as the teacher didn't catch us then it's fine. It wasn't that I was hungry either because my mom made sure we always had breakfast before leaving for school. It was just the thrill of breaking rules and not being caught that made me and my friends eat inside the classroom. Fun times!

I have eat in class sometimes. But those are rare occasion.I usually have my breakfast since my mom force me to eat lol. And we also have recess time so usually i waited till it is recess time to buy some food. But some of my classmates sale some chocolates and candies those are the things that i eat during class hours.
