i have seen this simple presentation hours ago at hbo talking about the dangers of climate and global warming changes that may happen when we don't stop polluting our world.
it made sense to me and it is good to know that they posted something on a site on tips on how to save energy, save the world.
i hope this is not included in the don'ts of terms here in mylot. i found this site to be useful for every users of this site to visit the site they have posted on their program..

Hello skbh12 Yes indeed I care for our surrounding environment where we live as we are not living outside the planet earth. The present threat is coming from environment i.e. global warming. We are regularly listening that climate is changing rapidly and within 2020 most of our metors which are situated near sea will be grabed and warning has already been issued on the subject. In India due to illiteracy and lack of civic sense we ourselves creating environmental hazardous for us such as using polythene bags throwing here and there jamming all drains and water outlets. One more vulnerable point which I have experienced is vehicle pollution. I always tried to motivate people to think about environment if they want to survive. I have not heard about the site mentioned, but I will sure visit the site. Thanks.

oh no.. that is scary about the meteorite thingy you are talking about. as well as the polythene bags thrown in waters and seas that covers up the pipes where water runs through in, it might also come out of our faucets and this may be the cause of deaths in most places.
thanks for taking time to visit the site. there are tips in there and downloadable videos to watch from and learn about.

i have seen the inconvenient truth by al gore.. it's a documnetary film that tells us what has been happening in the world. there is also this temperature comparison in the early years and the study has proven that we have hotter temperature now than ever.. we have bigger, stronger, devastating typhoons compared before.. i care about the world, and i care most about the future generation, want my kids to live in a safe environment.. (that's when i'll have my kids..hehe) but really our small ways of helping the environment can really help a great deal.. if only all of us will start contributing in or small ways.. small it may be but it makes a difference.

we'ew in the same country then.. yep it's really getting very hot in the country.. here in cebu, it's definitely very very hot.. it was not this hot last year, but right now, it's very hot that even the air coming out from the electric fan is also very hot..

hi austere!
about the hot temperature? oh yes! i am feeling it!! here in the Philippines, i hate it when the sun is so high up above the sky because its rays sting so hard on my skin which hurts. another thing, we are having unpredictable rainy weather now a days. it rains then the next day it stops and gives a sunny weather then after the succeeding days, it starts to rain again which causes many citizens to catch a flu or experiences high fever..
it has always been a time for action in saving the world.

hhi skbh12 I think we all care about our environment and most of us are doing whatever we can to help. I try to keep things neat and picked, and clean upp any trash I see lying around outside our own apartment. we try to conserve on our electricity and turn off things when we are not using them.

hi there hatley!
uhm i am guilty about the conservation of energy because sometimes when i sleep at night, i end up sleeping with my television on. as well as with the computer, i always leave it open when i am at home so that when i am ready to use and work with mylotting it won't take time for me to wait for the laptop to turn on..

i do care for the environment. i've attended a lot of seminars about the effects of climate change in our environment and i really don't understand why only a few are able to realize that we should be doing something to prevent further changes that would in turn greatly affect us. people should be aware of what could happen if these climate changes continue. i hope they'll make a move before it's too late.

of course i do..and i think everyone is very aware that our mother earth needs everyone's help.
but most of us and arrogant and disrespectful about our environment. let's face it, each and everyone of us done something to hurt and make our planet sick! yes, our planet is sick and she needs help to be cured.
being a mountaineer, it taught me to respect and protect mother earth. how do i do that. very simple, don't throw away candy wrappers anywhere...we are not blind to see that there's a trash bin. simple as it may sound but if everyone will do it..we can eliminate tons and tons of garbage that is being thrown away and being burned everyday..
also if we can, try using paper bags or basket when going to market, plant trees, or you can join the World Wildlife Federation.i am a member of WWF online..
let's join hands in protecting mother earth and fight Global Warming...
chEErs!

God has given us the duty to care for the earth, but also for other human beings. So we must not do anything that might help the animals and nature but harm humans. That means we can use gas and oil for our cars if we are going a distance, but walk when it is a short way. We do not put our fields to produce ethanol, we use them to grow food. We do not waste food. If we have vegetable and salad scraps, we put them on the compost pile rather than put them in the garbage dump. We turn off the lights when we are not in the room, we use energy efficient lights. When we go shopping we use cloth or recyclable bags and the only reason we need plastic bags is if they do a double business like also lining the garbage cans.
Man did not cause global warming. If he did then we should not even cook our food, or heat our houses. What we have to do is to make sure that what we do to save the earth is not done at the expense of harming others, so if you always use ethanol to put in your tank, you are harming others because they will have to pay higher food and fuel costs.

Climate and global warming changes really do worry me and I feel people need to make the sacrifices as a whole in some way to slow or even prevent this crisis. I think its vital we have renewable energy sources for everything we possibly can. I'll visit the web site climatecrisis.net to check it out.

Oh, this problem is absolutely a hot potato. We all know our earth is not the same to the past, so are the people who don't care about the environment. The question we must face and solve is that who should take charge of it, everyone, you and me, and all other friends are not willing to accept that for only one person's trash can destory the total world, so many people ignore theri uncivilization action, as a result of, the environment becomes worse. If we all realize our responsibility of influening the people around us, this question may be cool down

I do not think people can live well without considering the environment with him/her. And it si our duty to protect the world for our children.
Now what i can do, is try my best to use less energy. Because the producing progress will bring a lot of air pollution.
I try to use less chemical product, so that I can create less pollution by the way.
I think if everyone try to do something for our world, things will be much better in the future.

I have to admit I am not caring about environmental issues that much now, and neither are most people around me. People today focus their attention more on the so-called tangible interest. For example, a private car owner would rather not use the public transportation, since driving a private car is much more comfortable, convenient and time-saving, although we are all very clear that taking a bus is more environment-friendly. See, comfort, convenience and time here are tangible interest which people are pursuing. What about the amount of CO2 exhaust saved by taking a bus or subway? I am sorry. People are too busy to take that into consideration.

I care and I worry a lot for climate change, I have 2 kids and I know which kind of future I can give to them, but all us in west are doing to few for that, everyone has a car, we go on the highway and in 80% of all cars is only one person, we waste food, we use to much energy to produce everything and I'm afraid that the time that we all become a bill is coming very fast..am I to pessimist? I hope yes..

I always care of our environment eversince i was young. I learn from school how to save mother earth by throwing garbage at the right places and never to burn plastic since it has a bad effect on our ozone layer. But sad to say a lot of people doesnt care of what is going on in there sorrounding until things get worst. People started to care when they realized that our climate is changing and we already experience the effect of global warming. I still see some people in a lot of places throw garbage everywhere. They dont even recycle. They just continue to throw trash and continue to expect the government to find solution to the problem of proper garbage disposal and keeping the whole place clean. We can do a lot of things to save the environment even in our own home we can start doing something about it.

We all are saying that we care about environment but do we do enough. We still using our cars, we still using fridges, not many of us taking part in any organizations. All what we are doing is talking. We are sitting beside computers using electricity and saying that we care about environment.

my own opinion about the supposed "climate crisis" is that this is a very natural cycle of our planet earth. the growing of both temperature and the rates of CO2 is well known by scientists along the earth geological history.

ah, you must have watched al gore's an inconvenient truth or something. yeah i care about the world. i do what i can to somehow clean our environment, but sometimes i just want to quit trying to do the right thing cause many people just don't care about our world and just continue to defile it like there will be no consequences
