Living the green life as an average college student

Harried, hectic, harassing. Tiring, motivating, demanding. Any college student would probably use any of these words to describe their lives in school. And we all know that this is the case: being in college is NOT a walk in the park. Getting that coveted diploma requires the utmost effort and dedication from anybody. Forget the new dance club down the block: for a serious student, the library is the only place to be. Absolutely no distractions and unnecessary complications permissible. So with all this, can any college student lead a green life (which, admittedly, can be a bit of a pain in the butt) while leading the busy life he or she leads?

Like any lifestyle change, going green when you're so bogged down can seem quite a challenge, but take time to think of one thing you can do to reduce the waste you produce. Get in the habit of doing that one thing, then add another. It's just too daunting to try to do a complete change.

yeah but what little things do you do to be green? what steps do you do to minimize your carbon footprint? (i'm so sorry everyone, i forgot to put my main question at the start :D) i mean everyone of us has to do his or her part to save our environment. even us college kids who are "bogged down" with studies, as beaddoodler says. for me i now spend a lot more time in the library than before, when i photocopied reference books for me to read at home. that way i reduce my paper consumption and save on electricity. y'all have any more ideas? :D
