How much do you earn and how much do you save ??

Hi people, I am student at an Indian university and I earn about Rs 8k( 180 USD) per month and spend about half of it Rs 4k (90 USD) and rest send it to my parents, who I think know value of money better than me and know what to do with the money. I really feel great when ever I send money home. I wish I could save more but thats what it is :)
What about you guys ?? How much do you earn ? How much do you save ? And what will you do with the savings?

Successful entrepreneurs would suggest that 50% of the earning would go to your needs while 50% will be saved. Anyways, for this month, I have not saved a single penny yet because I have paid a number of due bills which leaves me broke.
