We don't use microwave. They say it is not good for us. All the radiation and radio waves will affect the cells in the food making it also bad for us. I just want to be safe. Cheers!!

Hello! Yes I do use a microwave oven at home. Our microwave oven has the grilling, microheating, defrosting, combination of grilling and microheating and combination of defrosting and microheating. I use it for reheating frozen leftover foods that were stored in our fridge and there's no need to dirty the skillet..

My husband is the same way and for me I use on occassion but not as much as I used to. One of the main things I used to use the microwave for was popcorn. Most times the bags would burn part of the popcorn and it was getting expensive. Now we make on the stovetop, it doesn't burn, I use organic popcorn and it tastes so much better and takes about the same amount of time, it just isn't as convienient. I have had this microwave for several years and my son is always telling me I should get a new one, but I think when this one goes out I won't be buying a new one since I use it so infrequently. I don't buy many frozen entrees or dinners any longer so do not need for heating them up. We cook most of our meals from scratch.
