I usually drink some other beverage while I eat. I drink either soda, ice tea or milk. I drink water on ocassion but it is kind of tasteless and not my favorite.
I like my beverages to taste like something.

If you want you can always add a lil flavor to your water. Like lemon lime or through a strawberry or other type of fruit to give it flavor

I like to drink water while i'm eating. Only because water fills you up faster and since i'm trying to loose weight it helps me from over eating. But water is good for you. It helps flush out your system and keeps you hydrated(if you drink the required amount each day)

I usually have a glass of water available when I eat a meal, but I was told several years ago that I really shouldn't drink anything 30 minutes before and for 30 minutes after a meal.
Water or any other liquid only dilutes the enzymes that the stomach releases to break down your food. Water is probably the easiest on the process, but drinks like soda block the bodies from absorbing many of the needed nutrients in the food we eat. So even if you are eating healthy, some of those nutrients are just getting flushed out of your bogy, rather than being absorbed!
I may take a few sips of water while I eat, but I no longer drink a full glass of water with my meals.

Hello,Albino! It is not good to drink water or any drinks while eating foods as it cause s indigestion and other stomach ailments. You may drink it either before your meals or after. However I can't remain without drinking one or two glasses of water wile eating. And consequently I suffer most of the time with stomach problems.thanx.

This is a bad habit to my consideration. I seldom drink water while eating, except soups. The doctor told me that drinking while eating may cause decrease of your stomach acid concentration and thus digest food improperly. Eventually, it may lead to stomachache or ulcer. It is suggested that you should drink water 30 mins at least after eating.

When I have my regular meals (breakfast, lunch or dinner), I would prefer drinking water. I don't exactly know the reason why but I feel more refreshed drinking water after a full meal. It's a different story, however, when it comes to snacks. I would drink juices or colas whenever I have fast food or just plain snacks/chips/biscuits. I enjoy eating them with special drinks.

I try to drink a glass of water before and after eating. I read in Reader's Digest that is you do that it keeps you from overeating. I do overeat sometimes and I want the bad habit to stop. So far, I stick with my drinking water habit most of the time. ;D
