why does listening music depend on ur mood?

people use to say it often that listening music depends on there mood ..blah!..blah!..but why is it so i never understood why so?
is this the same in ur case ??
well......it never depends on ma mood but sometimes it really depends.:)

hi everyone well i have been a very big listener of since i got my computer
i dosen't depend on my mood i prefer it every time, no matter what time is it ,no matter who's there i listen to music the whole day music has become
like part of my life i can no longer live without it even when i am out i carry
my headphone so that i can listen to the music.even when i am studying i listen soft music it doesn't depend on mood i listen to the music the whole day...

Music is like a food. If you eat the same type of food over and over again, you'll get sick of it, right? So, if you listen to the same type of music each and every day, you'll also get sick of it. That's why it depends on your mood, i.e., like it depends on your food appetite.
