What is true love and how do one define true love?? I was inspired by one movie that i watched few days ago, and thus i decide to start a new discussion on it IN the movie, there was this guy whom was very much in love with this gal for many years but he din make it known to her.. Even though when she has got a bf, he's still caring alot for her, and treating her better than her bf.. ANd that he will always grab every chance he can in order to see her, and not making it seems so obvious.. And one day when her mom dies, and her bf left her, she was very upset and start to party everyday, dun even wanna care about anything including her young bro.. However when he knows about it, he still showed concern for them, and no matter how many times she had tried to push him away, he's always standing by her till one day she's touched.. And they finally got together one day.. BUt a new problem arise, she aspired to be a singer, and that he knows, he went to fight for a chance for her.. She got it, went on to becoming a big star.. During the process, he was very understanding and he did alot of things on his own will and intiative.. Til one day, a magazine caught them and in order not to affect her career, he chose to leave her on the day of her concert.. BUt still, he has not given up on the her just yet, on the way to the airport, he was listening to her concert on the while, till the very last part of the concert, she then realsie he is coming back again, and she pleads for him to come back by announcing to her fans and everybody, that she only loves him and she dun care about anything else.. Upon hearing that, he rushed back, but along the way, he met with an accident.. He din died.. All in his mind was his gift to her, which she likes alot, and that's the reason he went back to it, after which the bike exploded and he died.. Now, given for any guy or gal here, are u willing to give up just as much or sacrifice yourself for your partner's success?? And how much of us are actually capable of loving someone quietly without wanting them to know?? I know i'm not one of them, and thus i really admire those ple whom can really do it..

hi there kun... True love is not how you forgive, but how you forget, not what you see but what you feel, not how you listen but how you understand, and not how you let go but how you hold on. True love is not about the hugs and kisses, the 'I love you's' or the 'I miss you's', but about the chills that hit every part of your spine when you think about him.and When we love, it isn't because the person's perfect, it's because we learn to see an imperfect person perfectly. True love doesn't just fill your heart, it overflows into your whole body and soul. and this one hits me...True love doesn't have a happy ending, because true love never ends. Letting go is one way of saying I love you.... may i know what movie is this???lol! thanks!kun... cheers!

That is one hell of a true love. I read it and was quite sad. What movie was it? Perhaps I should catch it too. So awesome, romantic, sad but at the same time speaking volumes of true love totally. It is not easy to find true love, and I always admire those that have already embarked on it. True love is at its purest form and you are right, true love needs sacrifices. In order for one to succeed, the other party must support or sacrifice a bit of their time together. The thing is, this thing called love is a double-edged sword. We have heard countless times on how one leaves the other because of success and after giving months or years of sacrificing the time together. That's why some guys and girls do not want to commit themselves. It's either they have been burnt by this sort of situation or they just don't want to succumb themselves to it, lest they fear they cannot take it.

Yeah, it was quite a sad movie.. Though it's just a movie, i believe the same thing had happen to anybody just that the ending is very much different from the moive ^_^ As for the name of movie, it's "True Love", but it's a hongkong movie though ^_^ LOve is pure and u are right on that.. However, not many ple are able to fully understand the real meaning of it, because they tend to be selfish and only think about themselves.. Though love is selfish in nature, but selfishness is for the other party, and not for themselves.. How many of us can actually do that?? I dun think there are many.. Thus that's one of the reasons as to why i always like such movies, because it teaches me alot of things and philosopy about love ^_^

That movie sounds familiar, or maybe i have watched it even.. lol =D BUt too bad, most plots or storyline in hongkong movies are very much alike, and thus i do find it bit boring after some time.. haha =D As for romance movies, i actually prefer hollywood ones to hongkong.. haha =D Sweet november is one of my favourites ^_^

I love Hongkong movies. In fact, speaking on this topic, I watched on Saturday night, I think whilst working; find time to skive, about this psycho girl whose so wanting to become an air hostess and she ends up trying to kill people, stalking and whatnot. Such a convincing actress, I did not get the title or else I can look for it on youtube. Only managed to catch the 2nd half of the movie. I am also inspired by such romantic movies which you have describe so far and sometimes those movies are inspired by real life events, which makes it all the more emotional and touching to watch. I agree; not many people can do that. In fact, it is perhaps 1 in a million who does that.

Wah.. so dramatic.. may I ask.. Is it a Korean movie? Such unconditional love does not exist in reality. (In my opinion) Most people I know, they Love conditionally. Maybe that's the reason why I rather stay away from relationships. It kind of disgusts me that people love conditionally. When we were young, we used to think of Love simply. However, it seems like as we grow older, Love is no longer as simple as it seems.

NOpe, it's a hongkong movie.. haha ^_^ That's why i'm also quite surprised to see it.. And the name of the movie is really, true love.. haha In my opinion, i believe that there's really unconditional love, just that we dunno about it.. hehe ^_^ Thoug it might not be as fairy tale as this case, but it's possible to be similiar in some ways.. haha ^_^ ANd if u happen to meet one, one day, maybe u will grow to know, love is actually much more simpler than what u think ^_^ hehe

Haha.. Ok.. It's one of those movies I'll never watch.. I can't stand pure romance. Romance comedy is fine though.

For me, true Love is when my feel be happy when close with someone. and I feels jealous when he going out with another people. With true love I don't care anything, I will give what he want from me. I like sharing my life to my true lovers but this time is very difficult to find true love, I know that. so I just give my true love to GOD.

YEah, your definition of true love is very simple and it is supposed to be like that ^_^ True love is about being happy and that they will share everything they have.. IN a way, there will be no secrest and mistrust between u and him ^_^ That's good.. I believe GOD will help u to find that someone soon ^_^

That's a tragic story! I think that in a realationship, I want to give and take. I don't just want to give and not get something back. Love is not one-sided. Rather, it's a two-way street.

Yeah, though it's just a movie, but i do believe that happens in real life too, just that we have not really meet them yet ^_^ Be it one sided or two way street, love will always be love, as they will constantly be placing their loved ones above themselves ^_^
