orchids are pretty. I don't think I've ever grown any in my garden. You've just given me a great idea! Thanks!

Yes but if you want to grow them in your garden you must get ones that will grow in the soil. Otherwise they don't do so well. Most of mine are in pots with bark as they need plenty of air around the roots. Good food and plenty or water when needed. I hope you have a great time growing them if you get any.

orchid - Here is another one

It is a Cattleya or a Laelia not sure actually. A lot of orchids come in that colour
