my mom is 81.
she still works as an elementary school crossing guard.
yesterday, in the newspaper, she found her name under
CITY BANKRUPT
and 31 people were furloughed.
she was number 30.
first, that's a lousy way to find out...just before going out the
door to work.
second, she really needs that $800 a month income.
she is in stage 4 renal failure.
stage 5 is dialysis.
she has almost $400 in meds monthly.
winter time will see an increase in utilities, too.
heat, electricity and food.
well, although gasoline prices have dropped some, the food pricing
hasn't followed.
i do not know how much longer i will be online at myLot.
i've got to do some really strong promoting of my websites (listed on my profile page). the one for 6 degrees will be paying out every other week. it's free to join and bring your friends, too.
if anyone wishes my e-mail address, please PM me.
i'll be around sporatically for as long as i can. i want you all to know
how sweet and nice and helpful and funny and inspiring you have all been.
love
sam

Sam, I am sending lots of white light to surround you and your mom.
I am sure things will work out, in spite of the way it may look now.
I will keep in touch through e-mail.
Huggs, Darlin.

it has been slow moving, my friend.
i have signed her up for unemployment.
i have signed her up for reduced income utilities coverage.
i have signed her up for retirement benefits monthly payment.
next week i attack the pharmaceutical companies for reducted payments.
thank you for your kind words and sending lots of white light !
love

I'm thinking positive; she has been a loyal dedicated long-time employee. I feel like just because this door closed for her, there's a better window of opportunity somewhere for her. The city or school board that employees her hopefully will recover from their troubles soon. Can't she get unemployment benefits? "Turn your face to the sun and the shadows will be behind you." - if she is healthy and active, surely something else will come through for her. I wish ya'll all the best!

Hey, mommasam... I don't have any sensible words to say, but I feel for you. That's too much bad luck for a day. You just have to keep your hopes high. I will check out your online revenue generating sites. ^^v cheers
