Have you ever locked yourself out of your own home?

My husband and I were leaving our home this past weekend and he told me he had left the keys in the car. I locked our door and went to the car with him. It was then that we realized that the keys were no where in the car! Thank goodness my husbands sister had just moved into a house a few streets away from us and she had an extra key to our place! We had left our dogs inside our home so it got me wondering if there was anyway to train a dog to open a locked door..haha.

Oh yeah...I've done this too. How, really, I'm not sure...it's been a LONG LONG time. There were a few times, mostly as a teenager, when I had to climb through my bedroom window OR even a living room window (much more embarassing because the neighbors get to watch my rear end disappear into the house -=I ) because I've left my keys in the house. I've even left my keys at friends/relatives houses and gotten all the way home and then realized I didn't have a frikkin key! One night I got home so late and I was afraid to wake up my mom (I didn't want to get reamed about my keys) so I crashed out on the front porch for the night. When she opened the door in the morning she almost had a heart attack. Lol. The plus was...she felt bad for me rather than being upset. -=D
