Reflections of the soul
As the clouds turn black. the acid rain starts to fall, slowly killing every thing. I look around and all i see is death. The people around me are either dead or dying. the sad part is they don't even know it. just as every ting starts to fade away. I close my eyes to try and block out all the pain and suffering. Knowing that there's nothing i can do. I open my eyes to face the world once more. When i see that there's nothing left, i start to cry. realizing for the first time. that i've been looking in side all myself all along.

Very nice I like the expression in your poems, sounds like the way I write. I have been writing for many years myself and recieved several awards although some of my english teachers didn't like my work because some of it was too sad or depressing for them, But I believe that the poem should be based on the way you feel and your life experiences, keep up the good work.
