How do you feel about southern people

This may be a funny dicussion but what the heck Id like to hear your thoughts
I live in Tennesse The thing is Iam always hearing people put down southerns its like we are being categorized like we are stupid hicks Iam constanly hearing people talk about insest in southern states WHich Iam sure it happens but come on do they really think every one is married to there family and having children .
Anyways I just wanted some thoughts

My husband says the same thing!!! I think it's true too! I was born and raised outside of Philadelphia, moved to SW Florida 20+ years ago. Ended up marrying a Florida boy, imagine that. You know there weren't too many real Florida boys when I moved here. Anyway I think that Southern people are the best!

Hi redkathy
It just seems to me that to many people put us in groups
and at the same time they forget the southern hospitality now a dayss it is really hard to find people who care enough to stop if your on the side of the road or lend you an egg or invite you without even knowing you to a cook out ect but if there is one place ou can find it its here in Tennessee

I'll be lookin' for you when I pass through there LOL! Like I said I love southern people. I came from a very loving family, and we were not the norm. As we kids moved out of my parents house our friends moved in, no joke! I guess I just fit in with the southern people because of how I was raised. It is too bad that so many people are missing out on the finest things in life, like caring about each other, due to their own narrow minds!
