Do you have good medical insurance? Is it provided through your employer or do you purchase it yourself?

I have what is called a POS (point of service plan) It works like a HMO and a PPO. Most Dr's are part of out network so mine is more HMO, but I don't need referrals or autherization. $78mthly for family for employee)

Great price! We buy our insurance and it is EXPENSIVE! Not only that, the deductible is $2500 per person every year. We can afford to stay healthy and we can afford to die, but nothing in between!

I have Medicaid. In Massachusetts, we call it MassHealth. It's better here than in most of country. We have vision, dental, and OBGYN care covered. They also pay for PCA care.

I do not have medical insurance. I could get some through the company that I work for, but at $475 per month, I can not afford it. I just hope there are not major medical problems in the future, for my family.

I am disabled but I do not get Medicare,I get Medical Assistance(long story with Social Security,ggg....).I do have to say MA is much better than Medicare.(with Medicare you need a second insurance).I do not have an HMO or PPO.Thank God I can see any one practicall, as long as they take MA.The thing is,you do not always get the treatment you should.(could be worse though)The government rules the Drs. choices, not right.
