How can anyone fight dogs?

In our community a mixed dog was found in a dumpster in a trash bag with its mouth duck-taped. One of its front legs was only hanging on by a little bit of skin! After a lot of surgeries he is doing just fine on 3 legs. A reward was put out for the person who was responsible. They finally found him and he pleaded guilty. Since he did that he got off with ONLY a $15,000 fine. How can that be fair?? That dog was tortured and is just lucky that someone found him! That man was just going to leave him for dead!

cut off his leg and leave it hanging by only a small bit of skin duck tape his mouth and toss him in a bag then into a dumpster and see how he likes it. ugggg dump people

I think this is crazy, first that someone could do this to an animal. And second that he only got $15,000 fine out of it. Unreal this poor dog he probaly will never trust anyone again, because of what he want through.

Unreal. I don't see how anyone could do this to an animal. I know I get mad at my and my cats sometimes. But I could NEVER do this.... A fine for $15,000, what a slap in the face to the dog. Hopeful, for the dog, he get a good home were someone will love him. And never do this again.
