Do you still eat lollipop, lolly pop or simply lolly? / myLot

According to the newspaper i read, in 1908 george smith coined the name lollipop. He got the name for a candy on a stick from his favorite racehorse lolly pop. Though it is also said that it could be the candy was such because in northern England 'lolly' mean tongue. As for me, i still like eating lollipop even in my age. in fact i am eating right now while doing here in mylot, my favorite lollipop is chopa chups. Have you try eating lollipop? Do you like eating it?

yes, I usually eat it after lunchtime. Its our dessert! my favorite is the tootsie roll lollipop and its group like bluerazz, raspberrry, etc.

Intersting, lollipop as desert.. Well i do eat lolipop when someone it i given to me, i dont buy it actually, i feel like a kid when i do that. thanks for sharing.

I still love eating lolli pop and when I was in my kindergarden days my school principal Sister.RoseMary used to give me and other friends a lovely lolli pop.. I remember its taste still ...We used to get many lolli pop's from her.. I jsut love that sister so much! such a sweet lady she was..

It is good to remember those memories we have during childhood. Especially when we are happy doing things we like while eating our favorite lollipop. It taste so sweet and mouth watering too. Thanks for sharing friend. Happy mylotting.

In my part of the US we would call the large flat round candy on a stick the lollipop. Smaller ones or round ones are referred to as "Suckers".

Oh i see, sorry i dont know about that, i guess different country has different names about for it. We dont have those large flat round candy here, maybe you can send some to me.

heyy nice question you asked..great.i love to eat lollipop..im 23 year old now..still i love to buy it..all used to tease me..but i dont care about their..i love it so i want to do it..this is our life we have to enjoy it...life is short we have to enjoy it all time..have a nice time with mylot

I agree with you srikool, some say when you eat lollipop it is a childish thing but for me i dont care. As long i am injoying eating it, no one can stop me from doing it, even the police.
