Whats your favorite soup recipe? My all time favorite is cheesy potatoe soup. It's SOO yummy! I love to make it on cool days or in the winter. I also like homemade vegetable soup too.

It's not a recipe, but I love La Madelaine's tomato basil soup! I was so excited when I first saw that they sell it in the grocery stores around here. It's expensive, but soooo worth it!

I don't know if it's available everywhere -- probably only in the places where the restaurants are local. You can check this site to see if there's one near you: http://www.lamadeleine.com/Locations.aspx

Well next to chili, my favorite soup to make in cooler weather is my south of the border soup, you can make it hot or not, but it warms you up on a cold day.

its kinda like a mexican soup, its got black beans, and corn in it, and I use medium picante sauce in it. You can make it spicier if you want or mild. I'd give you the recipe but I don't think I can post it on here...

There's a soup that I really like that is easy to make and not too expensive. It's Sausage and Cabbage Soup. You cube up potatoes, chunk/chop up cabbage and cut up polish sausage. How much of each depends on how much you want to make. You boil the cabbage and potatoes first and then when their near done you add the sausage. You can add whatever spices you want to it...I add salt, pepper and cilantro. I make it about every other month and it doesn't last long. Oh, you can also add a bag of frozen brussel sprouts right near the end (watch that they don't cook too long or they'll get mushy) or any other veggies. I would like to make chicken and corn macaronni soup. I liked the crab and corn soup, with egg and then add the cooked macaroni. My boys loved it. I used to love "arroz caldo"- it's a Filipino rice pudding in chicken broth but ever since i made that crab and corn, it has become my new favorite. I am planning a new variation by using chicken instead of crab.
