or do you bypass them and go to shorter discussions. I ask this, because usually when I start a discussion I like to be descriptive so the reader knows exactly what I am writing about. I also elaborate with my take on the discussions. Actually, I like reading the longer ones. Short or long, which one are you?

there was that other topic, where the starter has coined two wonderful words for the topics. Whether you K.I.S.S. or K.I.L.L through your topics. When you are kissing, you are actually keeping your topic small and attractive. When you are killing, you are keeping the length too big, and so, are actually killing the interest of the people reading that. So, friend, I would rather KISS than KILL. goodluck.

It depends on my mood really. There are some that I really would like to read and respond too, but I am not in the mood to read the whole thing at that time. If I run into the same discussion later and I am more in the mood to read it then I will.

Not really I just skim the post espically if its just a question that I dont need to look at the post to answer the question. But sometimes someone will make a long disscssion that would catch my eye and I would read the whole thing but thats only happend a few times.

hey size of the discussion does not matters buddy..the thing tht matters is the content....the post should be point to point no extra usage of another topic...i like posts which have sense even if they are small...happy mylotting!!

For me, what is important is the subject or the title of the discussion. It may be long but there is no sense in the discussion and it could also be short but to the point. If the introduction interests me I would read it no matter how long or short it is

To be honest, I don't read posts with very long discussions unless it's really very interesting. If the discussion is very informative and I think that it would help me improve myself then I would definitely read it, word per word. But if it does not catch my attention then I won't read it at all. Plus I did set a goal for myself that I will be posting more than 20 responses a day. To do that, I would need to cut down on the time I'm spending to read discussions.

It really doesn't matter to me as long as it's about a topic that I'm interested in. And as long it's not someone rambling nonsense to make their discussion longer...

Sometimes, normally I just skim through it and try to get the jist of it, but if its intresting enough I wind up reading the whole thing. I normally write like this. First couple of sentances Second couple of sentances ect. The mid sees big chunks and thinks "ugh this will take forever" or "hard work" but when its seperated into groups of sentances the mind sees it as less to read, even though its not.

Hi Sudalunts, I will judge from the title to see whether I am interested in certain discussion no matter how long it is. I like to erad the recipe posted on the cooking group. However, tell the truth, sometimes I do skip the discussions which are very long one that are not my tast. Happy mylotting!!
