Well are you? LOL...for some reason this year I am not ready to make the change from fall to winter. I don't know why. Normally I just love the winter and cling to the cooler temps as I really don't like it very hot. I think this summer was one of the nicest I remember! Maybe I am just holding on to all the beautiful weather and wonderful temperatures. So are you ready for winter?

Hey now fall just started we have a way to go yet before winter. Winter starts in Dec. So let's hang on to fall. It was really nice this weekend. But yes I'm getting ready for the cold getting the windows ready. I have plastic on four of them already. The dinning room will be next. My bedroom will be last as if it get warm I still will want to open a window. Open doors downstairs. But I like winter as well. I hate being hot. So yes this summer was really nice. It was like when I was a little girl not to hot. But we will need the snow for the gardens next year. That is how I think about it. And all them people that like to show things they shouldn't in the summer now have to cover it up thank goodness. Your friend onlydia

I am not ready yet because I still enjoy sitting out on the patio watching the hummingbirds and I haven't gotten to open up my house yet because of having the air conditioner on all the time. The only part of winter I am ready for is my flu shot, got it on Wed. hahahaha

Actually I am never ready for winter. I should go visit our daughter in Arizona and stay for 3-4 months. Am sure she would just love that..lol I've always been so cold natured and freeze in the winter. My feet are cold all year long and nothing I do warms them up. Well sometimes wool socks help. Guess I should have retired in a warmer climate but don't want to leave our other kids who live in Missouri. Am ready for anything except icy streets.

Gosh, that's really funny! I really hate cold weather so I am not looking forward to the winter at all. The only nice thing about the winter is that it has Christmas and my birthday and my daughter's birthday. Other than that, the weather side of it I don't like at all. Give me nice sunny skies every day! I know many people like snow, etc. but I have never liked that.
I hope it stays nice weather a little while longer.
Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

I've always lived in the Midwest, where it does tend to get cold, windy, and snowy. I've never been a big fan of winter. I do like it at first, and I like snow on Christmas, but otherwise, I'm always more than ready for spring. I am like you, though. I don't like it when it's really hot, either. I like the more moderate climates. I am going to Florida this week, so I guess I can escape the cold for a little longer :-)

I'm so sorry for coming in so late. Anyway, a lot of time has passed since then and weathers have changed as per their schedules.

We had big giant snowflakes today. They were very pretty but now it is just windy and raining off and on. I don't like the cold weather. I am a warm weather girl. I like to go outside in the warm sunshine. I am looking forward to one thing this winter though, cross-country skiing. I have never been and my husband and I decided that this was the year we were going to do it. I am really looking forward to that!

Yes, I am ready for the cooler weather. In this case, "cooler" is relative because I live in a southern state in the US and about the coolest I can hope for is mid 60s. Right now, our temp. is about 85. It is cloudy and raining right at this moment, but the sun will probably be back out within the next hour or so.
I actually like cooler weather, though. I'm not a fan of it being hot all the time either.

I am ready for a nice winter day, I love to watch it snow and am always so excited when I look out the window and it's snowing. It's always such a beautiful picture, and always painted just a bit different from snowfall to snowfall. I love the colder temperatures as well as I like to cuddle up and be cozy near a fire, with my fiance.

No, I don't think I'm ready for winter yet, although I like fall and the way the air smells outside, it makes me think of the Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons, but I'm just not ready for the cold air yet. I think this summer was beautiful too, had alot of fun this summer. I guess we have to be ready for winter, whether we like it or not, theres nothing we can do about it, but enjoy living each day...

I love the fall and spring where the weather is just right. Mid summer stinks for me and winter is just too cold. It's beautiful in the winter and I do like the crispness of a winter day's air but I really hate the cold. I can't keep heat in like other people and my partner teases me about it.

Hi jillhill,
I am not yet ready...LOL! It means to me have to stay more inside the house and less activity outside unlike summer!
ANyway, hopefully, it will not be very cold and less snow around here! LOL!

Hi Jill, I am ready in the respect that I have changed to heavier duvets and have bought the snuggles blankets down for the evening as I tend to have extra layers rather than put the heating on but I am not looking forward to scraping ice off of the car and having to wear hats and gloves to keep warm as I find them annoying and restricting and always lose anyway. I love Christmas though and so weather and cold aside I am looking forward to the winter for this reason as I also get to have all the children together for that day, yippee. Huggles. Ellie :D

Hey jill,
Where is Albert Lea and what kind of winters do you get?
Me, I'm ready but as anyone knows, Florida is not known for the changing of the seasons. All I ask is for cooler weather. I'm tired of sweating!! I guess I should use the word perspiring since I'm a lady. But sweating really hits the true feeling.
