You could get the StumbleUpon toolbar. The ultimate boredom killer, and known for causing insomnia.

i downloaded it yesterday and am already addicted to it. But it only last so long before I start getting bored of it and then my 2 year old gets mad because I am online too long just waiting to see what comes up next!! It is almost like russian roulette or something.

I'm bored today (10/19), as well. It's not like I have nothing to do. A big deal grant is due in 11 days and I need to finish a 100 plus page book for it; I'm about a third of the way through it, but I can't get motivated. I'm hoping that posting here will get me started on my needed work.

If I get really bored, and there's nothing on t.v. I'll watch a movie or something. Or maybe you can watch movies or videos online or something. I know when you get tired it's like your mind doesn't or can't really work too hard.

Too bad you can't see what your child sees in the talking Barney. I say get down on the floor and play with your child. Maybe talking mommy would win out over talking Barney. Yesterday I took a blanket and made a fort in the living room my son and I had a blast crawling in and out of the various tunnels. We laughed ourselves silly.
Good luck overcoming the boredom.
Happy Mylotting... and have some fun being a child again.
