During our college days we used to book the Movied tickets in advance. They use to issue advance tickets one to three days in advance and this counter used to be kept open for 2 to 3 hours a day. There used to be a Reserve Class where in the advance booked tickets were issued! Then, I used to book tickets in advance along with my friends, in case there was a good movie. This we used to do to avoid eleventh hour disappointment because of heavy rush, which used to be the feature of any successful Cinema Hall ! In fact at that time Cinema used to be the one and only one mega entertainment. TVs were restricted to four to five Metro Cities and they used to telecast programmes from 6.30 pm to 11.30 pm.The programmes used to be very boring as they used to show us documentaries more! Then the scene was different. Now with the Multiplex era we have lot of options to watch a movie of our Choice and we can book our Movie tickets either on Internet or on Mobile phone! I have not tried any so far as I never returned back from any Multiplex so far without watching a movie! May be if I get any disappointment in future, may be I will switch on for advance booking! Do you book your Movie tickets in advance ? Please respond! Thanks!

I agree with you. Booking movie tickets is actually giving more benefit so that you usually get best seating spots and do not sit too close to the screen. So, i think booking tickets earlier is better.

Nope I have never ever booked my tickets in advance to go see a movie. I always get it when im there even though I guess if you count a few hours early then I did once when star wars episode 2 came out had my mom get tickets the day it came out before we got out of school early and that was the only time.
