I hope so too. I remember back when it was 0.46/litre and I am pretty sure we will never see that again. It's crazy how high everything is nowadays compared to 15 or more yrs ago.

Today, Monday, gas is at $2.48 near me in Minnesota.
I've heard on the news we are one of the cheapest States for gas right now.
I filled my tank for the first time in a couple years Sunday. Usually I've been putting $20 to $30 only. Now I can fill it for about $45 insted of $65 or $70.
HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Yes, I was excited that gas has finally dropped below the $3 mark. It is very nice. I hope it keeps going down, but I know it will have to even out soon. Thanks for the comment and Happy MyLotting!

You know I really don`t know. Living in Tokyo I don`t drive. I can get everywhere I want to go on the subway. My company pays for me to take the subway to work.

Well... the prices you mention are a DREAM here... one galon costs about 5.6$ here... I hope some new technology would be invented soon to replace gas. Now it is not only our pockets - it is also the environment that requiers is...

In Southampton, England I paid £1.07 per litre last time I filled my car up. It's due for another top up tomorrow and spotted last night on the way home from work that the price had actually decreased by a couple of pence to £1.05. Fingers crossed it keeps dropping now it has started but can't really see it happening if i'm honest.
What with petrol becoming more and more expensive in the far eastern countries and what with Englands poor excuse of a government at the moment taxing us to high heaven it's unbelievable how most of us can still afford to run our cars for commuting, social and leisure purposes. I'm just glad I own a little Ford KA with a tiny 1.3 engine so it doesn't get too thirsty...thank God.
