blood donation

Hi bvdev234, I have never donated blood in my life, as it is I have been to my doctor and found out that I am lacking in iron my blood and I had to take pills so I don't think I am a good candidate for a blood donar. Tamara

I gave blood often before I was diagnosed with cancer- I have been free of cancer for a little over 2 years now- but I still can't give blood until 5 years cancer free. When that time comes I will probably not give again just because sciencist still don't know what causes cancer and I don't think I could feel good about it- not knowing it would be okay. As for where- just the local blood drive like every 3-4 months. How about you?
