The star next your Mylot username is a raing. When you post answers and start new discussions, people rate you buy giving you best responces and giving you a positive rating. The more of these you get, the better your taing will become, if you hover your mouse over your star it should say a number out of 100..ect. 70/100. I have never personaly seen someone with 100/100 but i have seen a few 98 and 99s. The ratings go up by 10s, so from a red star (85/100) to a blue star (95/100) you will have to increase by 10 percentage points. That figure is consistant througout all of the stars, from 1 all the way to 10, 10 been the best. You will begin to loose rating when people rate you negatively, it is hard to over come this because the people who are rating you are doing it out of their opinion because they might have not agreed with what you posted. I am currently on a red star and it will become a blue one at 95/100. Happy MyLotting and dont let the rating stop you from saying what you really want!
