We are about to lose our country and nobody cares. What ever happened to the talk about illegal immigration? We need tough penalties for employers that hire illegals. The illegals would self deport if they could not get jobs anymore. I am tired of my sons having to compete for jobs with illegals that should not be here in the first place. They also use stolen identities to get jobs, which causes great hardships for the people who have their identities used. They would go back to their original countries if the jobs dried up. We need to stop employers from hiring illegals. The other thing that bothers me is the way congress spends money like there was a never ending supply. They earmark every bill that goes through with their own special projects, which increases our deficit to higher and higher levels. The republicans were bad at this, and the democrats were elected to control of congress to fix it. They said they would fix it, and they are even far worse than the republicans were. We need to balance the budget, and stop this deficit spending. I balance my budget, why shouldn't the congress have to do so.It's no wonder that this democratic congress has a 9% approval rating. They lied to get them selves into control of congress. We should throw them all out, democrats and republicans, and start over. They have all lied to us. FIX SPENDING BY CONGRESS, AND FIX THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION PROBLEM.

You are correct that we need to make hiring illegals a top priority, and start charing the CEO's of the companies. The first time a major CEO goes to jail for hiring an illegal you will see help wanted signs go up everywhere. You can easly fix spending by Congress if you reinstitute PayGo, but that won't be easy. I don't think that democrats are far worse than republicans, it will take time to undo all of what republicans have done in the last six years. Democrats are the only party to eliminate the national debt, and grow the economy at the same time. I personally think that Barack will be better for this country than McCain. But, that is just me.

It has been on the news that illegal immigration is down considerably now that our economy is down the tube. Many have evidently decided that this is no longer the place to be now that the price of living is up and the jobs are down. I would say that we now need to make sure that they aren't able to come back!

Yes I think we will lose it all together once Obama gets into office and it will be for more than what you mention. As for congress the people decided a couple years ago they wanted change and they voted in a democratic congress, since that day America has fallen, with their spending out the AZZ. People scream it is Bush, Bush has very little to do with it. Congress makes the bills and passes them, there is a hand in each bill that gets something for them. Congress is what has put us where we are today. Now you top that off with a democratic president, one that has no experience in running this country and they got their puppet. So when they say do you want another 8 years of the same old same old, they want people to immedialty look at Bush, when in reality what we will be getting is 8 more years of the democratic congress doing the same old things. I guess they think all Americans are not smart enough to under stand how Congress works. I feel for this country because Obama has made a lot of promises that I hear on the news that he can't keep. I fear for our safety, in foreign affairs, he may cause more than 911 with his views on foreign affairs.

Well, looks like jobs are dryingup so maybe WE will be theo ones sneaking over the border now. Too bad we can't getthe kind of benefits there that they do here. In all seriousness, People who live in states on the southern border, should ask, no DEMAND that the governors of those states deploy their national guardand if nessesary, their state miliia to the borders to protect their statesfrom this invasion, because that is exactly what it is. People who live in counties that border Mexico should aslo start demanding that their sherifs enforce immigration laws, they have the authority in their counties to do so. If the federal government isn't going to do something, and it is obvious they aren't, then it's up to our states to start standing up for themselves.
