I think it's mixed news for me. For one Kumble is a true fighter and he is a loss to any team. On the other hand, it gives Dhoni a chance to show his leadership qualities at the Test Level as also gives the young leg spinner Amit Mishra a chance to show his mettle. Aussies have not seen him till now and that could turn to be India's trump card...
Cheers!

ofcourse kkumble is the champion bowler..this will give chance to dhoni as well as mishra...aussies ud nt have much clues regarding amit mishra...
lets see wht happens tomorrow when india comes to bat....although we have the strongest batting line up...then too always there exists a doubt in our minds dont know why....
hope for the best...

In my opinion it is a good news. Two reasons for that
1. Kumble's current form. Now a days he is not bowling well enough.
2. In his absence MS Dhoni will lead the side. He is truly a champion leader. Under his captaincy India will surely bounce back in the second test.

A true Indian like me would say, its a bad bad news. Yes, he is very much needed there. It surely makes a difference to the squad due to his precense.
