Possibilities for historic animals to be still alive..?

I really am thinking about this topic. What if some historic animals are still alive up to this day. I have a situation. I know that humans did not reached the bottom of the ocean right? There can really be a possibility that an animal is still there, a prehistoric one. That animal possibly survived those meteor things because it is under the ocean and we all know that those rocks will just be like nothing because of the water pressure. That animal can survive by eating something under the ocean and it can be so scaly to be able to survive to that extent. In land, there were also places that are not yet discovered like in caves or under the mountain. Will you agree with me concerning this topic..?

in the 1930's or 50's they discovered a fish they thought extinict - so sure, there could be things surviving - tho if it was in the water - it would have to be a water breather - not an air breather to have enough of a breeding population to survive.

I am a Creationist, and I believe the great flood, hunting, and slow breeding are what eventually wiped out creatures like the dinasaurs...even though a great few survived...and I bet one or two of them are still alive... My dad said they had found a live triceratops back in the 1940s.... I never looked to see if that was real...maybe I should check that out soon... but I really think some of the ocean dwelling ancients are still alive deep down in the oceans... and even a few still in the jungles and other places we havnt kept a close enough eye on...

Mmm... If your dad saw one, i guess there should be others now that were alive or it is possible that there can be an organization that knows these things and that they hide the truth,.,.

There are, indeed, still some corners of the planet hidden from us: the depths of the oceans, the deep rain forest, etc. These places are for sure hiding creatures still unknown to man, but, in my opinion, only small creatures we believe to be extinct may still live there. I say that because a larger animal needs more space to live, a larger habitat. And also, consider that for a species to survive, it takes not one individual, but a population (no matter how small). There isn't much unexplored space that could sustain a population of large animals, but small animals can persist with little room.

Well, indeed, at some point you are right. But, do we really know how big the space that was not yet discovered? It can be so big to be like the Philippines where i live right and it is enough to support life forms as big as a dinosaur. I really like to continue investigating this one... Thanks...
