Do you think husbands should help in doing household chores? Does it make them less of a man if they do?
After almost 5 years of marriage, my husband is helping out with household chores. He cooks, helps out in cleaning, and taking care of our daughter and I think that it does not make him less of a man if he does. Instead, I think that he is more of a man in doing so; because he does not care what others will think of him. He often tells me that in today's world, everyone is on equal footing and I love him more because of this.

I thik those dayshave gone atleast with the Urban Couples who literate ! what is the harm if husband helps his wife ! I personally feel its a good change to cook and do petty household jobs. Now with the modern facilities available nothing is any more laborious that used to be in olden days. One can wash the clothes in washing machine which takes nothing but transfering the clothes from one chamber to another. Washing dishes also has become easier one with modern washing sinks which are fitted with taps giving both cold and hpt water. Cooking with the help of microwave is nothing but just like doing experiment in a lab where it used to a part of our curriculum. Claening process also has become easier becauss!e of vaccume cleaner.I think in the modern world where wife and husband are earning livelihood for the family , then why not the men can share womens' work ? Though my wife is not working one and since we are living at a remote place on a Fram , I practically do all the plumbing, electrical and other day today jobs all by myself! By doing so i feel great and satisfied and we can save lot of tensions and anxiety in getting the technician to your place who are too fussy attending the work at far away places ! Thanks it was a nice topic of discussion and I enjoyed participating in it !
