Hi all my friends,
We know that we are economic person. So we always want to have a good thing but with the less spend. I learn it from my school. I try to apply it in my real life.
I think the common thing that we can aplly is when we are buying something. I always try to find the cheapest thing but with the good quality one. I know that is very hard to get that. So when I buy something in market, i usually try to bargain to lower the price of thing. Especially the things I buy are vegetable, fruits or maybe clothes, shoes in the shop that don't use a label price.
Do you bargain when you buy something ? What thing do buy with that way ?
Thank's for the willing time to read and respond my discussion.

Hey there! Yeah, I use to bargain with merchants whenever I buy some clothes or things that I like to buy. in fact, I almost always bargain with everything that I buy. lol. Here in our country we this place called Divisoria and it is the perfect place foe bargaining. Although the price of products here are really cheap you can still buy it to a lower price if you are good at bargaining.

If we have time, it is also fun and it feels rewarding that we get better bargains.

The only time I bargain is when I'm out rummaging. Sometimes there's something I really like but I"m not willing to pay what they want so I ask them if they are willing to do better.
Most places won't let you bargain by any means, even the farmers markets the prices are firmly set.

They don't really here. You just look around for the item(s) you want and see who has the best price and decent quality.

Of course I bargain when I buy something,I am wor in a office and don't earn more enough,I certainly want to buy the cheapest but with good quality.
Often if you don't bargain, the hawker will raise price when he know youdon't brgain, then you will suffer.so we have to bargain when we buy anything even fruit,
It really sounds like we can do nothing,so Ioften go to the supermarket to buy things, the price is relatively fair in this place.

Hi Winz, if it's in the markets, where there are no fixed prices, then I would try my luck and bargain. It would be good if I can get it at a lower price, as I'm not good at bargaining. My hubby is better at this, so I usually leave the price negotiations to him!

Hi Winzpc, of course and definitely bargain on things i plan to buy. Reason? only 1, save as much money as i could. I believe that's normal and common intention for buyer. Normally i will request bargain for clothes and fruits, because those are the item i feel that the seller will topup a lot. I always feel difficulties to bargain as i don't really know or estimate the actual price. But luckily my wife knows that, thus i will let her to go for the bargain session.

I sure do. If it's at the market or at a place that I know I can bargain, I make it a point to do so. I would try to get the lowest possible price. Sometimes I would get the item at less than half the initial asking price. Lol. If it's at a department store or a place where the prices are fixed, I won't be able to do any of my bargaining magic. Hehe. Lucky them.

I live in Canada and we don't have markets that you can bargain the price. Our markets are just like grocery stores and have a set price and there is no bargaining. Either you pay the set price or you don't buy it. I think I would like it better if I could bargain the price but it just doesn't work that way here.
I am a good shopper though, I know what stores to buy certain things at. For example, I know to go to Walmart to buy my toiletries and cleaning products, as that is where they are the cheapest. Also I shop at a store called IGA on dollar days where they put a lot of items on sale for a dollar. That is when I stock up on drinks and canned foods.

Hi winzpc,
That is great for you as you can bargin there in your markets. We can't bargin here where we live, we have to pay goods as everything is priced up, sometimes some stalls will let you bargin but not very often.

I do try to bargain when I buy, I get the sales paper and find out what is on sale and where before I go shopping I learn this from an aunt of mines that was the family greatest bargain finder.
I also ask my doctor for a prescription for generic brand medicine too when he writes a prescription for me. Most generic brands are on the Wal-Mart $4.00 plan.

Hi winzpc, I do not like bargaining much when shop. I think it's a waste of efforts and will make the shopkeeper dislike you. So if I find the price is reasonable, I will simply go pay for it. I do compare prices between shops though. I sometimes bargain, only when go to travel and visit the markets, as shopkeepers in those markets usually raise the price of stuffs when they know you are tourist. So the successful rate to buy things at a lower price is very high.

I understand with you, because everyone has their own way and opinion. So I can understand why you don't like to bargain. I have a friend that also same with you, he don't like to bargain. He compare the price from one shop to another one and buy in the lower price. Thank's for the share.

I consider myself wise spender not thrifty. So when I buy, I always ask the seller to lower the price. If I really need it, then I will buy it. I think almost everybody is like that. That's a good practice for the buyers.

For some reason I am too chicken to bargain, even at a garage sale. Everyone else I know will bargain at garage sales, flea markets and things like furniture or display items. With the economy being the way it is, I better start.

It is good to buy something that is bargain, due to our economic crisis. It"s hard to earn money and in a while we spending it alone into a worthless thing that is not necessary. It is wise to be thrifty. I always go to bargain center to buy some clothes that I need. Like now we have to buy seassonal clothes because christmas is near.
