How do you mylot?

Again, this morning, first thing I did when I got out of bed was check my mylot earnings from yesterday and again I am still online in mylot and 2 hours have past. I need to go to the washroom, hehehe.
I have been so busy reading all of the comments I got on the responses I posted yesterday and I have been busy commenting back to some of them. Now it has been 2 hours and I haven't posted anything that I will earn a few pennies for. I do this too often. I spend too much time reading and commenting and not responding or starting any new discussions, and not making any money.
Do you spend too much time just reading? Or are you one of those members that just keeps posting and posting and not much time reading? I some days wish I could do that more, just post and post, and make more money, and not spend any time reading, but that wouldnt't be fair to my friends if I didn't spend the time to read what they spent the time to post.
So please, share your story and tell me how you do it. Do you read and read or do you just read one of two and then go back to them later, after you post more responses and discussions?

Welcome to mylot. This is a good site for you to be a member with, because you will surely increase your English abilities here, you will learn a lot.

Well, I just signed up tonight. A friend told me about it. Seems like a really great place and I can't wait to get to know some of you. I assume I'll be posting a lot soon as I'm on many forums and seem to have an opinion on everything :) but I also like to read the posts and learn from others. Anyway, thats my take from the new guy.

Welcome to mylot. I hope you end up staying as there are a lot a members that don't stay. Give it a chance and you will see it is a great site.

how do i mylot?
hmmn let me think for a while..hehe just joking!
i have very limited time in here like 2 hours because i have 3 kids to watch over and i have a husband who hates seeing me in front of the computer...first thing that i really do is check my earnings, then add friends if i have pending friends to approve, then i give back comments from the responses that i got after that i start another post...then if im done and still have time i check out the posts of my friends..then i get to response like 5 or even if i am lucky and active i get to post 10...then i'm off.

Hi there chrislotz!
I often do my usual myLot activities late at night as I am very busy the whole day. Today is different though as I need not go to work early today (just today). Since I was not able to do much myLot activities last night, I am trying to squeeze in some myLot time early this morning before I prepare for work.
In most cases, I go over the list of discussions I can respond to or those that I am really interested in. If I have much time to spare, I would read the responses the discussions already have before posting my own response. But when I am in a tight schedule, I would just read the discussion and respond to the discussion.

I used to spend alot of time here in mylot posting discussions and responding to discussions but nowadays i no longer spend too much time here. I no longer post discussions but i still respond to discussions. I usually answer 10 posts a day, if im feeling really lazy, just 5 discussions. I try to concentrate more on my writing job so i kinda dont have the time for mylot. But i try to visit it everyday and read some really interesting discussions.

I do both of them, i.e, Discussing as well as Viewing Comments in myLot. I do this for only a short time, because I don't have spare time for this as I keep searching for informations about developing and I have started earning on SliceThePie .

In my case, I will start my day with my notification so it's a combination of responding to post of friends and giving comment to responses I received in my post and then after an hour, I will pull out myself and take a shower and then clean a little and then have some coffee and go back to Mylot!
I don't post often so all of my time online will be spent with notification that if I am very motivated to work and if not, I am just hanging out at you tube! LOL![/i]

No dear...i don't get so much time, and in the morning..noways...its night here in India and its 9.45 pm, i come when i am free from my daily chores and all that cooking and children's studies etc. In the morning they go to school, i have to make them and their tiffins ready...then my exercies etc..no time for mylotting. I rarely start discussions so i dont need to read and comment, i just open my mailbox, first respond to all the friends, when all of them are responded, i go to 'my interest' section and pick up whichever i would like to respond, so directly adding everyday, its good..isn't it?

I too get up in the morning. Usually I have to rush to college early. So I just check up on the emails I get and read the comments I get in the email. Then I just leave the messages in the inbox like that. I come back in the evening and post back on the comments If I can continue the discussion.
If I'm myLotting some other time, I read the whole discussion before making a move one the response. Because after reading the whole content, I decide if I can add something to the discussion.
