Laptop or Desktop computer?

I like the laptop more than the desktop because its portable, some times wireless and takes up less space.

I am currently using a Laptop. I love the convenience it brings me. Also, it takes up less space. My table is not very big so a laptop is perfect for me. Whether a desktop or laptop is powerful or not, it depends on the specifications.

The answer from me is it 'depends' on what kind of profession you're pursuing, i mean if you're a businessman, laptop will comes in pretty handy as they are busy with their business stuffs otherwise i recommend desktop cos with the same budget for laptop you can buy a desktop with a better performance :-)

I use desktop, and i don't have any problem with it, and i think i dont need laptop, becoz i rarely go out, and when i go out in vacations etc at that time i h ave no time for computers, rest contacts i manage through my cell phone.Maybe in future if i purchase laptop i will tell u its benefits and drawbacks ....

I own both a laptop and desktop. I haven't used my desktop in a long time though. I think I will probably need a new desktop in the near future--considering mine is at least 7 years old, maybe older. Laptops are very convenient though. I like to sit in bed and use it, instead of an uncomfortable chair. But there are things that bug me about it, like sometimes it shuts down out of nowhere, which I think may be from overheating, I'm not sure. Also, throughout the years I have gone through several laptops, dropped my first one and broke the screen 2 or 3 times! Although, my newest laptop seems to be sturdier, back in the Winter or Spring I was carrying it out to the living room and accidentally dropped it, and it didn't even get a scratch! Oh, and last December, when it was a year old, the little table it was on tipped over by accident and it went splat on a hardwood floor! I about had a panic attack over that, but I picked it up, and everything was fine! So I have to wonder if they are making laptops more klutz-proof. Like I said, the only complaint I really have about my current laptop is when it powers off while I am using it, without warning, and one of my arrow keys came loose and I can't make it stay anymore, so it's taped down with clear tape! And it works fine, I just have to change the tape every now and then when it starts coming off, and then I can use that key like normal. But yea, eventually I'd like to either use my desktop more often, especially for computer games--because my laptop sometimes lags on my games. But since moving the room my desktop is in is overloaded with boxes and stuff. So I stick to my laptop, even with occasional annoyances. haha

I using the desktop computer. Desktop computer is more cheaper than laptop if we compare the component. I don't very need to use a laptop because I'm not work outside, I work at my home and Dekstop computer is enough useful for me. So I will buy a new laptop when I have found job outside. Laptop gives me flexibility to change my location, cities , but i have handle it with very care. I like desktop, because if there is a hard ware problem i can look into it. Whereas it is complicated in case of laptop and has to depend upon the company's support.

I like the laptop because it is portable. I can take it to different places and easily carry it in a bag.

i like both the things..it is based on the time..while i a tired i prepare laoptop..i can use it in my bed..in the night times..morning times ..i prepare laptops..otherwise i like to work with PC..here we should sitnear the computer and we have to work..this is a standar one..from my childhood itself i am working with PC..so in my PC only the compuetr laptop is not..lol..in laptop we can carry it anyplace...we can work wtih it at any place in home ..no need to work in a standar place..have a nice time

i prefer using laptop coz i could carry it anywhere. i find it odd to use desktop computer especially when i was at my mom-in-law's house. im not used to desktop computer anymore
