Nirvana or Foo Fighters?

According to many critics foo fighters are heavily influenced by NIRvana and resembles them.Acoordin to me NIRvana are absolute grunge gods but foo fighters have their separate identity...what abut u people???

Well Dave Grohl is from Nirvana so I could definitely see why Nirvana is influential to their sound. But I'd still pick Nirvana over Foo Fighters any day. Especially when listening to their more recent tracks. Their older stuff was better. But still nothing compared to the genius of Kurt Cobain.

well seeing that dave was in nirvana foo is definitley influenced but i think the foo has taken a lot of what nirvana was and ran with it in a better direction so i would pick the foo fighters.

in my opinion Nirvana are more genuine, foo fighters more commercial... I prefer nirvana!
