Freeware or pay softs?

You use the freeware softs or pay for them? I ask this because i use over 80% and i like very much.
Leaving aside the fact that they are free and are very excellent in what do.
If you know where the sources can download such programs, do not hesitate to add in your comments.

I love only freeware as we can get them without any cost and these freeware softwares are helping somany peoples to get knowledge. I use Fedora and Ubuntu operating systems which are freeware. And What ever I used, is always freeware. Why do we need to pay for them as better softwares are completely free. As these are freeware, anyone can develop their own requirements and we can get the work more easily. Most of the antivirus corporations creates new viruses as they require some new customers for their survival. But in case of linux, no virus can harm you.
