then NEVER click or participate in the site?
This is such a pet peeve with me. I mean check out the site, if you like it join, if not don't join. I check out the sites that I can gain from obtaining referrals and I get so excited when I have a new one. Hooray another ref... then they do absolutely nothing. Their rating stays at zero, their name just taking up space.
I mean I have 8 referrals on easyhits4u and only two of them ever clicked more than once. Some of them are at zero???? So I'm thinking I'm gonna surf less.... nope not a chance! And, I have to see that number - 8 - every time I log in just to aggavate me more. I wish I could delete them from my account.
On osobux I have the same thing. I didn't trade these referrals either so I don't get it!
Does anyone else out there feel like I do?? AM I just a crazy person for letting this annoy me so?? what do you think???

I agree with you 110%. But I think theres nothing we can do about it sadly. Here's to hoping for active referrals.

This is also a pet peeve of mine, I don't understand why anyone would take the time to join something and then not even bother with doing anything once they have joined! I just responded to a discussion about how to make money fast on mylot and the person who started said they have been a member for quite a while and only had 3 posts, obviously on a place like mylot where you are getting paid based on your participation having only 3 posts is not going to get you a check anytime soon. I don't understand these types of people.

i don't know how many sites i'm probably a part of and don't do anything. sometimes, if they don't like it they just ignore it. i have about 7 referrals here and no one really does anything. they don't really do you any harm though, they're just there but not active. everyone has their own pet peeve. me personally, i wouldn't give much thought to it and i would just let it go because who knows, maybe they're remember they're apart of the site and start going again.

Sometimes,people join a site not knowing what to expect.Once they try it,they find out it's not for them.There are other times when people have just joined too many programs and decide that the new one is just one too many.And,of course,there are some that decide that making money on the internet is not their cup of tea.
I agree with you that it's frustrating.But,that's just part of the game.

Could be they forgot about the site. Could be they really intended to come back but never did. I do know that if I join a site and I decide I have no intention of ever going there again, I'll delete my account. But if it's possible I may revisit, I keep the account. But I get your frustration. I have 113 referrals on Yuwie and only a handful are active!

it annoys me also but i do it to other people.. i will sign up for a lot of things and think i will go back to check and forget about it and never go back

I am for the line of thought that the passive referrals are lost as to what to do and it will be left to you as the referrer to guide them. Sometimes new members are just equally as baffled as us when we first join and would always need the invaluable tips from the one above us and the successful members around.
There are of course the real passive ones who just expect everything to fall down from the sky. It is just one of those case and days that you will happen to meet them. But let's not be discouraged ourselves, just look for others who will be enthusiastic and resourceful like us. In all things never give up and continue to share these valuable money earning tips to others.
