What is the best diet that you have ever tried and stuck with the longest?

A few weeks before I got married I went into the half rice diet. In the Philippines, it's so hard to not eat without rice, unfortunately, rice is also a rich source of carb with high glycemic content. I ate half rice and just had three meals a day. My breakfast was just whole grain cereal and yoghurt. After two weeks I was able to shed two inches. I ran on the treadmill too of course but only for thirty minutes. What about you? What is your diet routine? I need to know because I do not like the routine that I am following anymore. *sheepish grin*

I tried the Southbeach diet once.
Lost a mountain on weight on my first week (15lbs, to be precise). At that time I was trying several weight loss methods and had already lost 35 pounds. I gained them all back though, so I'd say that my methods were wrong (or maybe I didn't exercise enough willpower - haha).
I'm back on the weight loss train, again. For now, it's all about eating vegetables, enzyme rich fruits (think tropical yummies like pineapple), lean protein, and unprocessed carbs in moderation. Still trying to get the hang of exercising though. Eek.

Me too! I have been doing a weight seesaw for the past few years! I lose weight, gain it back again and then lose it again so goes the cycle of my life. It's terrible! I think your current diet is balanced. :) Let me know what happens :)

I'm currently trying keto. It's where you eat lots of fat but minimal carbs. If you're really looking for a diet, I would recommend you keep it balanced from fat, carbs, and protein.

I wouldn't like stay that kind diet. My diet is eating organic and had been stick with it for long time but sometimes I went off and eat regular foods. Now I had added new diet called green smoothie, but i did not change my current diet.
I suggest you to add healthy foods and eat variety that will help you enjoy more and stick with it longer.

What do you mean by green smoothie? Are these vegetable shakes? I also like fruits. :) But I like eating fruits with chocolate fondue *wahaha* I am back to my treadmill and elliptical machine program though... Hopefully, it will help me shed some pounds. :) I get really depressed when my clothes do not fit haha!
