I have a yellow star

I only joined a couple of weeks ago and all the sudden I have a yellow star beside my name with the number 8 inside it. I have seen these stars on a lot of members but I don't know what they mean. I am assuming the color and numbers mean something. Can someone explain it? I would really appriciate it!

it changes everytime someone give you a positive ratings. its the + and - tab near someone else posts. you can bring your cursor to the star to see how many positive ratings you got.

it is based on the quality and reputation of your post. good luck u have got a level 8 star.

you have an 8 star which is based on your reputation which is when people rate you in the + - or ! .. the more people that rate you good the higher the star and same if they rate you negatively.. your points are based upon your posts.. every time you post or reply your points (#) will go up
