I've made money, lost it made it .....
People say we need to get luck on your side to be successful. But I feel being success is quite predictable. In fact it can be explained in terms of probability. The more we work the more our chances of success

Ya, you do need luck, I am 46 years old and have worked heard all my life, but never had luck on my side. Money has always been tight. And I have always had to watch the cost of things. I have never made good money. And I am a Graphic Designer. I have worked heard to try and get a business going, But, have never been able to get it off the grown. And I am good at what I do. So, I just decided that luck is and has never been on my side.
I've been unluck in love
unluck in money
and unluck in so many other things. I can't even get 1 number right on the lottery...LOL
So I can count on never being successful, it's just not in the cards for me...

Friend winning lottery ,gambling etc are not luck they are probability. Prior to luck you need to have a success mentality I recomend you must 1. think and grow rich by Napolean hill and 2. Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. they really change the way we look on ourselves.

I think you are right about the success being down to what you put in the more you will get out. I too havemade money then lost it recently with the credit crunch and the banks collapsing. I am now looking for ways to make my money back and i know that i am going to need a bit of luck in order to make a living again
