what kinds of things can you give up for lovers

I have met my boyfriend for nearly two years,we have a good connection.The problem is that we live in different cities and my parents don't agree with this kind of relationship.The only way to change the situation is that i move to the city he lives.That means i have to give up my job and life here.It's hard for me to make such a decision.what would you do in this situation? What kinds of things can you give up for the one you love.

Love means taking the risk. If you have known this person for quite some time and you know or at least feel that your relationship is heading somewhere positive, then why not go for it? You'll never know unless you try. However, if you cannot prove that this person would do the same for you, make sure think about your decision first.

I have moved from my town to the other end of the country twice. Both times I had a boyfriend who lived far away, and I moved to his town so that we could be together. If move you away from you own town you always have to give up something, but sometimes you gain a lot more than you give up. A new town means new possiblities, new experiences and new friends, and I personally don't regret moving to the other end of the country, and I enjoyed the new experience.
