Did painter Bob Ross use drugs?

My father in law was just visiting with us and we got into a conversation about the tv shows my daughter watches. I was telling him about how she enjoys watching Mister Rogers Neighborhood which is a show my husband and I enjoyed as kids. My father in law started talking about Mister Rogers and went on to say "Yeah he was great with kids, but didn't they find out he did cocaine?". My husband and I were in disbelief so we had to research to see what we could find. But as we were on the topic of PBS shows hubby swears that he remembers something about painter Bob Ross being on drugs. So now I'm sitting here researching two of my favorite PBS personalities to see if they abused drugs back in the day. So far I'm happy because I haven't been able to find anything. So I'm coming to my fellow MyLotters to ask.
Did Bob Ross or Fred Rogers use drugs?

The biggest real piece of dirt on Mr. Rogers is once he forgot to change back into his outside shoes at the end of the show. My younger sister told me this when it happened. I didn't watch the show much. It was a bit to sappy for me. I was just above the target age.

Omfg... I cant believe he forgot!LOL I want to see that episode. Maybe I'll look it up. I heard that Mr. Rogers was a pastor or something of that sort.

It was 40 years ago. I can't believe I remember a comment my sister mad about a tv show.
Gotta run Eurovision is starting. I wait all year for it.
