Would you like to make friends with colleagues at work?

I often hear a warning which is 'Do not make friends with colleagues',because there are strong competitions in office and some colleagues may stab you in the back.But since working, i find that i almost spend 10 hours per day at word and there is very little chance to make new friends except with colleagues.Would you have the same problem? Would you like to make friends with colleagues at work?
