Anyone else getting ready for NaNoWriMo?

November is coming up and it's that time--National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). This will be my second year trying. Last year I was in the process of settling in after moving so there was no way I could do it. This year we are moving the first week of the month but I'm going to try to get as close to 50,000 words as I possibly can. Anyone else participate in this?

I am getting ready for NaNoWriMo. I've tried for five years to complete it, but I've never made it through. I usually die around 5,000 words. But this year, as incentive, I bought myself a painting which is going to inspire the story about a girl who gets stuck in the painting and has an adventure (as I want the painting to be a tax deduction I must complete this story according to my accountant). I hope the muse agrees with my economic plan. I guess it's funny what inspires people.
