I guess evrybody at some poit in their lives will remember the words from theyr grand parents: " Dont lift that, mind your back..." and at the same time thinking, "Why didnt I listen?"
I have been experiencing a lot of disconfort from my back pain and I'm tired of it. How did you get rid of it? What helped you?

Yes you are way too young to told you have problems because of age, I don't know it this will be any good for you but there was a doctor on a TV shoe here in Melbourne awhile ago and he said strtching type of exercises. very simple ones is what a lot of people should be doing...he started off just bu movinf his head back and forward, up and down then you work your way down your body..now how explains this is all joints and whatever of the body needs to be lubricated so to speak, and when you make slight moves especially ones you don't do very often supplies liquid to the joints of that area, all joint need this..when there is no movement the joints become very dry and then start rubbing against other areas...now this doctor seemed very sure of his exercisers...so maybe it is worth a try....Good Luck

In my case it's a weak back. My chiropractor gave me exercises that combines stretching and strengthening. If it is severe, you may want to get a doctor's opinion first, of course.
The exercises are slow and simple, and have been effective. The easiest is lying on the floor on your back and pressing the small of the back (the part in the middle that arches off the floor when you are at rest) - pressing it against the floor and holding it. A more intense one is lying on your back with the knees bent, and slowly moving one knee toward your chest, letting it down, and then doing the same with the other knee.
Here are three that are illustrated - I don't know about the fourth one though, and the first one I do one knee at a time
