Do you Hate Monday?

It is always Just another manic Monday for me. Remember the song by Bangles.

Personally speaking,I have nothing against mondays! Working in a Hotel,Fridays,Saturdays and Sundays are the busiest days of our working week,so for Me,when there's not as much happening (after Saturday night Dinner,Sunday Lunch,Weddings..)there's a good possibility I'll be having my days off at the start of the week,so You could say I Look forward to Mondays!

So you are a working woman!! well, everyone of us who work, will tend to hate Monday. Obviously who would like to be back at work after 2 days of holidays. Even I have been in job for more than ayear now, and having Saturdays and Sundays off, i feel too lazy to be at work on Monday morning. The only thing, i like about a Monday morning, is that i get to see my collegues and there is some excitement as to what new information and new events are gonna happen this week. As for instance, there is always a planned event for every week in my organization in some department or the other. So thats the only thing which makes me look forward to come to office on Monday, to be a part of the communication. Rest, there is nothing good to be talked about a Monday. After a long holiday and having hours of continuosus sleep, who would like to get up early on Monday morning to go to office.!!

Sounds like Garfield when he gripes about the week. I am always amused as to why he hates mondays. Now that I am working, I fully understand why. It is so hard to get back into the momentum of work on Monday mornings. And by the time you get the momentum going, it is the end of the day. Tuesdays are better.

yes i hate monday and it hates me back!!! it dishes out the most unbelievable traffic jams at the earliest time and it drags itself and rears its ugly head first thing sunday morning so yes, i hate monday!!! i usually get back by drinking myself silly the whole sunday until the wee hours of monday so i can sleep throughout the whole monday and wake up refreshed and ready to face the new week ahead on tuesday. cheers!!!

I don't hate Monday at all,i think it is same with other days,people who hate Monday may feel bad because of a new begin of week,some pople have the same feeling,i don't hate Monday,but i love friday because it means that the weekend is coming.

I don't really hate Mondays. It's the feeling of getting back to work on a Monday that's really bothering me. It's kind of hard to force yourself to wake up on Monday mornings and start the week with a lot of work to be done right after the weekend. It feels like Mondays always kill the time you have enjoyed the weekend before. Mondays makes me practically drag my feet to work.

I actually love Mondays - it's the start of a fresh week, my husband and son go back to work so I can get back to my routine - and it just seems like a nice day. I suppose it's not so great for people who have to go to work (my husband's never too happy about it) - but for those of us at home, it's great.

Hey maxilimian! Yes, I guess I still don't really like Mondays. It is a carry over from when I was working. I like most people dreaded the first day of the work. I knew that this would start the count down to the miserable agraviating stressful jobs that I always had and would make me rush my life away, which I did! I am not working right now so it isn't the same. But, there is that same familiar dread I think that I still remember. I don't know when I will be returning to work, but I am sure I will have that same feeling again and the I will be back to hating Mondays!

Hi there.. I really hate Monday!...After a very busy week we get only one Sunday,and it goes away in no time.This really makes me feel very tired on monday.Its really boring to go to collage again.The worst thing that I had ever faced till now is,We are having exams even sundays.I hope they make it two sundays in a week....One is SUNDAY and the other is FUNDAY... We are just humanbeings,not animals or Robots...who can work for months togeather... Have a nice day!!

Hi maxilimian, I don't dislike Monday because we have a different weekends here in Egypt! Sunday is like Monday here, people starts to work on Sunday and the weekend is normally Friday and Saturday. Sunday is the day that I don't really like because thats the weekdays starts.Thanks!

I don't really have any feelings about Monday one way or the other. The day I don't like is Saturday. I guess the reason is because it makes me feel I'm in limbo, between the end of one thing and the beginning of another.

Yes i work for everyday without rest. i have no leave at all. but as i used to sit everyday on internet & total my work is related to internet, i dont get bore at all.. i am enjoying my days really.. daily.. my true internet realtions are one more reason. i love my true friends.& i like to thank them here.

I don't hate monday, but I hate to work on weekends and have a days off during the week instead. Sometimes I end up mixing days and dates because I don't have permanent same days off. Its like sometimes I have monday off or having thursday off but I usually work on weekends. Now, I am looking for a job where I will not have to work on weekends. Wish me luck!

I do not hate Mondays! I just wish there were more three day weekends! As long as I get enough rest, everything is fine. It is not good to rush or wish for everything to be how we want it~! How about working on the weekends and taking off during the week?

I hate Monday, not only because it is the first day after holiday, there are many tasks waiting to do. i'm not very like in busy.

as for me i do not really enjoy being idle so i do seealmost everyday as the same except sundays when i go to church almost fully,mondays are great days for ,it mostly determines if i need to adjust my week plans

I'm certainly not a fan of Mondays. But I definitely do not love Mondays, either. On Mondays, it's the beginning of the week, and it's the day that I simply would like to be lazy, as I'm often lazy the two days prior to that.

Hi Maxilimian, No, i don't hate monday, i like monday every much. Because it is the new start week for me and of course everyone. Thus any uncompleted tasks can be continue and try to complete as soon as possible. Initially i hate Monday because lots of things to follow up and settle especially early in the Monday morning. But one of my friend have guide me a way to overcome that. The method is on Sunday night, i will do house keep of my last week / outstanding actions and list down what to focus for the new week. With that, every Monday morning i already know what to follow up and not getting mess for my tasks. I feel that method really helps me and cause me love Monday instead of hate it.

HI MAXILIMIAN, I DONT KNOW THAT EVERYONE HATE MONDAY, BUT I REALY HATE HATE YHAT MONDAY,SOME TIMES I GET ANGRY THAT WHO INVENTED MODAY, MONDAY IS THE SORROWEST DAY IN EVERY WEEK. SOME TIMES ALSO THINK THAT NOT TO HATE MONDAY BUT I CANT, WHY? BECAUSE BASICALY I AM A LAZY BOY TOO. THAT HOLIDAYS I USE TO SLEEP A LOT, SO IT CAME TO MY LIFE CYCLE, SO GET TIRED AND SLEEPY ON THAT MONDAY. BUT SOME RESEARCH HAS PROVED THAT WEDNESDAY IS THE EFFICIENT DAY IN THE WEEK, AND MONDAY IS THE VERY INEFFICIENT DAY IN THE WEEK. BUT MONDAY IS NOT A BAD DAY,IS MY OPINION.
